About the presenter
Rick Ciaburri
I began photography in September 1972 by submitting a band camp photo to the Cheshire Herald. While studying elementary education at Southern Connecticut State College, I took on photo assignments. A home darkroom, a secondhand typewriter, and a $75 car helped me get started.
I opened my studio in 1978, focusing on weddings, events, and portraits. The studio had a desk phone, an answering machine, and a wet darkroom.
Since then, my studio has grown into a portrait and commercial studio offering professional headshots, family and senior portraits, event photography, and product photography.
I am a proud member of PPA and CTPPA.
