  • The Rueben Schaller Award will be presented for the best photograph of a child. This memorial award is in remembrance of Rueben Schaller, Cr. Photog and child photographer extraordinaire.

  • The Treskunoff Award is presented to the CPPA member receiving the highest total point score for the six prints entered at the convention. This award may be won only three times. If the award has been won previously, a date plaque will be given.

  • The Lenzart Award is awarded to the maker of the best wedding candid.

  • The Kodak Gallery Award will be presented in the Portrait, Wedding, Creative, and Art EI categories along with a special Judges Choice Award. The print must score 80 or higher to be eligible for the award. Photographs are eligible for only one Gallery Award in a given year. Photographs that win at a state or regional convention are not eligible for the Kodak Gallery competition in another state or regional competition. There is no differentiation between the state and regional gallery awards.

  • The Fuji Award will be presented to the maker of the best image in its category. The print must score 85 or higher to be eligible for the award. One award will be presented for the Portrait, Wedding, Creative and Art EI categories.

  • The Roland Laramie CPP Award is presented to the PPA certified photographer who has the highest scoring print in the print competition. To be eligible for this award you must be a PPA Certified Photographer and that must be noted on your entry form.

  • The People's Choice Award is chosen by the membership of the CPPA. Members of the CPPA will be given one ballot in their convention package. Once the print exhibit is open for viewing, a member may fill out one ballot and deposit it in the designated ballot box. The ballots will be compiled and the winner announced at the awards banquet.

  • The Special Competition Award is an award that will be given to the maker of the image judged to be the highest quality image depicting the designated special theme. The print quality as well as the subject impact will be considered.

The committee and/or judges reserve the right to limit awards in any classification in which entries are limited in quantity and/or quality. Masters prints will be judged along with the general exhibit.
